Short-term visa to Ukraine is mainly used for travel purposes or other goals for staying up to 90 days within the country.
Starting from 01 January 2019, the MFA introduces extended range of Ukraine's electronic visas (e-Visa). e-Visas may be issued to foreigners-holders of passports of 52 specified countries :
Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kiribati, Kuwait, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Oman, Palau, Peru, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
Transit visa is required for foreigners who aim to use the territory of Ukraine as a transit platform while having another destination. Overall duration of staying while transit must not exceed 5 days. Required documents to obtain a transit visa: onward ticket and opened visa to the destination country.
